DML Audio is a professional audio services company specializing in high-end remote digital audio multi-track recording. DML's state of the art two-rack system replaces the need for a mobile audio recording truck for concert tour recording, video location recording, and other professional environments.

DML Audio utilizes ten (10) Metric Halo ULN-8 A/D/A interfaces for this direct to hard disk recording system. DML has been a collaborator on the development of the Metric Halo ULN 8, and actually tested the very first production units by recording an entire thirty-five show concert tour for a movie release in 2006. Subsequently this system has been enhanced and recording major tours and movie projects ever since.

With the utmost sonic quality and versatility, the Metric Halo ULN-8 digital recording system records BWF, WAV, AIFF, SD2, CAF. or CAF-LE formatted 16 or 24 bit files in real-time at sample rates up to 192K. These files are compatible with most digital audio mixing software. With the ULN-8 separate analog pre-amp send outputs, this system can feed a redundant recorder system at the same time, or mirror record to multiple drives simultaneously for back-up recording.

Now DML Audio offers this system for hire along with numerous options for any size project. Because the entire DML system is packaged into two self-cooled racks, it doesn't require the need of a remote truck or a great amount of space to operate. Yet, it still offers multi-channel recording with eighty (80) high quality, ultra low noise and distortion mic pre-amps built in. Settings are instantly recallable via the Mobile I/O Console. If desired, you can add from the studio stock of Neve, API, and Amek pre's as well.

DML Audio is based in the Denver Colorado front range area. For those older one inch 8-track masters, DML Audio also provides professional 1" 8 track open reel analog tape transfers using the Metric Halo ULN-8 A/D converters. This allows the same state of the art processing to convert older recordings to digital for the ultimate in remix quality. Since DML is based in the middle of the country, we accept tapes from all over the United States and Canada.
